Happy Birthday JAX

I made this birthday cake on Sept. 22nd for Jackie's (my BFF) 26th birthday party! I think it turned out pretty cute and is definitely her. We had a great time with the girls that night at our pink party and enjoyed an awesome dinner at Agave! Happy Bday!

The DJ Cake

Here is the DJ birthday cake I was hired to make. It was a lot of fun!

Diva Cake

It was my mom's 50th birthday this week so for her surprise party, I made her this 3 ft. cake! It totally represents the diva she is!

The New Room

So we have been doing a few changes around our house this month and I finally got the entire inside of my house painted. We also decided that we wanted to move the girls in together and get Gracie out of her crib. So with inspiration from the quilt I just made Gracie, we painted the room blue and the contrasting color is hot pink. This is a picture of the mural we started, Tate drew & I painted, and I think it is turning out good. It has some more work to be done on it and I am still thinking of other items to decorate the room including bird houses, poster size pictures of the girls above each bed, and fancy hanging mobiles. Whatcha think?!

Never Back Down-Boy Cake

So here is the new addition to the cake family titled Never Back Down. Haha This was a cake I made for a friend, Dr. J (Jason) who had his 29th birthday on Monday this week. He really likes the movie Never Back Down so as a funny surprise, I made this cake. It was a hit!

Felt Addiction

So you will see a lot more felt on here because I am a major felt addict! I am currently working on making a bunch of these flowers for headbands, clips, pins and whatever else I can think to do with them. We will see!

Feathers & Fluffs

Ok these are my new feathers and fluffs hair clips and headbands! I really like them because they are so different. I was just experimenting but decided to go ahead and add them to my shop. What do you think?!

Sweet Sundresses

These are my sundresses that can also be worn in the fall with long sleeves and pants. Or in the winter without anything underneath. And guess what, they are all reversible! I have lots of different fabrics!

Sweet Baby Tot Headbands

These are two beautiful examples of my huge daisy headbands. I love making these because they just make those little babies and toddlers look adorable.

Cupcakys

I sure do love making cupcakes!!!!!! Here are a few picts from McKenna's birthday cupcakes. Nothing special about them but they tasted great!

Here is the first fondant cake I ever made. Though it is totally lumpy and has bits of sugar stuck in the frosting I couldn't seem to get out. The next cake was definitely better! The flower is cute at least...right?

My Fondant cakes are so yummy thanks to Cynthia! They are made out of marshmallows! I have always wanted to learn how to make fondant but was scared because most of the time it tastes like crap. But not this recipe! Lots of ladies are wanting to learn so check out Cynthia's blog for updates for when we are going to get together and make some cake!
